There were several changes made to the TR-606 in it's course of manufacture.

Here is a list:

114700                  Tempo clock range extended
148400                  lower DC supply reliability
                                 Cym sound improved
159500                  signal to noise ratio improved/lower distortion
                                 (battery drain is higher though)


Capacitor C27, a 100uf cap keeps the memory backed up for a short time,
though the purpose is really to keep memory intact while changing
batteries, not for long term.
